Jill Hotel was born from the shared vision of its founders, driven by a passion for hospitality, design, and human connection. With the ambition to create a hotel that is both vibrant and intimate, they envisioned Jill as a place where guests immediately feel welcome, whether they are visiting Brussels for business, culture, or leisure.
Inspired by the city’s energy and its artistic diversity, the founders chose to develop a concept combining contemporary comfort, creativity, and personality. Rather than following traditional hotel codes, they wanted Jill to be a lively, authentic place, deeply connected to its environment.
As she meets new people, Jill continues to evolve. Collaborations with artists, exhibitions, the ‘Sober Life’ concept and the experiences devised within the hotel all form part of the same story: that of a place which reinvents itself without losing its identity.
More than just a hotel, Jill embodies a particular way of welcoming guests: warm, open, creative and in tune with the times.

Our vision
A hotel designed as a place to live and create
Conceived by Belgian interior architect Michel Penneman, renowned for his creative and distinctive hotel concepts, Jill has a unique identity: urban, arty, welcoming and unmistakably Brussels.
At Jill, art is much more than decoration; it is an integral part of the experience. The hotel maintains close ties with the local creative scene and invites artists to transform its spaces, bringing them to life and telling the story of Brussels in a different way.
Four female artists — 10 EME Arte, Lucile Vanlaecken, Atelier Louves and Stéfanie Fontaine — have created the hotel’s iconic murals, giving each space its own personality.
Permanent artworks, creative collaborations and temporary exhibitions shape life at Jill, regularly showcasing new talent.

Sober Life, a different way to enjoy
From the very beginning, Jill was conceived as an urban retreat: a place to slow down, reconnect and enjoy life at your own pace.
This philosophy naturally extends to our Sober Life approach.
The idea? To put shared moments at the heart of the experience rather than alcohol. That’s why our drinks menu focuses on alcohol-free options, with 80% alcohol-free drinks, homemade creations, botanical flavours, local products and carefully selected alternatives. And because Sober Life is neither a rule nor a restriction, a few beloved alcoholic classics naturally remain on the menu.
At Jill, everyone is free to choose what they enjoy.

Art is part of life at Jill
At Jill, art is not simply there to decorate the walls. It has been part of our identity and hotel life from day one. Deeply rooted in Brussels’ creative scene, Jill regularly collaborates with local artists, photographers and cultural figures, transforming its spaces into places of expression and discovery.
Throughout your stay, you’ll come across murals and permanent artworks created by the artists who helped shape Jill from the very beginning. But the story doesn’t end there. Throughout the year, temporary exhibitions take over the lobby and communal spaces. Evolving with new encounters, they give emerging artists the opportunity to share their creative worlds with both travellers and Brussels locals who walk through Jill’s doors.
Private views, exhibitions, photography, creative collaborations… Jill loves bringing together worlds that don’t always cross paths: hospitality, art, travellers and neighbourhood life. It’s our way of supporting local creativity while making Jill a vibrant, ever-evolving place with its doors open to Brussels.
